Server heat sink:
Server heat sink is a device used to reduce the temperature of the server. Traditional server heat sinks typically consist of heat sink fins and fans. The heat sink absorbs heat from the server components and transfers it to the heat sink fins. The fan blows over the fins to carry away the heat and exhaust it outside the server.
In addition to traditional air-cooled heat dissipation solutions, some high-performance servers also use water-cooled heat dissipation technology. The server water-cooled heat sink transfers the heat generated by the server to the water by flowing water over the water-cooled plate in the heat sink, and then exhausts the hot water through the heat sink fan. Compared with air-cooled heat dissipation solutions, server water-cooled heat sinks can provide higher heat dissipation efficiency, reduce server noise, and maintain server temperature at a lower level, thereby improving server stability and reliability.
Whether using traditional air-cooled heat dissipation solutions or water-cooled heat dissipation solutions, the design and selection of server heat sinks should be determined according to factors such as server specifications, operating environment, and power consumption to ensure stable operation and extend the life of the server to meet customer requirements. At PLC (CPS), we offer a full range of server air-cooled and water-cooled solutions that can help customers choose applicable solutions or customize them according to their needs.
